HOW TO ARRIVE
From Biella, take Via Carso and Via Bertodano, then cross the Chiavazza bridge, turn left and continue on Via Corradino Sella and then continue on Via Alfonso Ogliaro.
Take the provincial road 100 reaching Andorno Micca and continuing in the direction of Sagliano Micca, following for Piedicavallo. Follow the route up to the Bielmonte/Piedicavallo crossroads and continue straight on crossing the bridge, turning left and finally reaching Rosazza. Welcome to Village of the Spirits!
WHERE TO PARKING
There are many places to park all free so you don’t need to have coins or apps available. As soon as you enter the town, you will find some free spaces, near the cemetery and immediately after the church on the left, turn left or alternatively, after the bridge in the town center, turn left towards the castle and climb to the top where many places available.

Live the Bursch experience in the historic 17th century residence in the La Bursch country house which restores the ancient atmosphere of the place, surrounded by a private park, and taste the flavors of the area through a Piedmontese cuisine based on tradition, revisited with a touch of creativity.

THE VALLIGIANA RESTAURANT
The structure has a terraced garden with different areas where you will also find tables, chairs, to stop and relax in the sun or cool off in the shade of majestic oaks perhaps with a house drink.
The philosophy is from simple and authentic hospitality, a place whose complete and refined charm is given by the love for the land, and for those who have handed it down to us. It is possible to have breakfast, an aperitif, eat a pizza, or stop after the tour in Rosazza for a sweet break given the wide selection of delicious homemade cakes.
Open for dinner and lunch, the restaurant offers typical Piedmontese cuisine such as electric tomino (spicy cheese), Piedmontese appetizer, meat slice in green sauce, polenta with fondue, braised beef and many other delicious delicacies.
The restaurant also offers overnight stays in single and double rooms. All rooms have a shared bathroom, hairdryer and free toiletries. Includes buffet breakfast.


THE WHITE ROSE RESTAURANT (ROSA BIANCA)
The restaurant offers a seasonal cuisine full of local specialties but also a genuine and natural Italian cuisine. The main dishes are traditionally the mixed appetizers which are enriched with delicious alternatives and in autumn you can taste handmade tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms from Valle Cervo. Upon reservation, it is possible to eat a rich “Bagna Caoda”, the main dish of Piedmontese cuisine.
Throughout the year you can find agnolotti and ravioli, both lean and meat. However, the traditionally recognized dish is the “Polenta Moja”; a skilful recipe and blend of several local toma cheese at various degrees of seasoning. The second courses range from game to typically Piedmontese and Italian recipes. A rich selection of homemade desserts will complete your meal: the historic chestnut dessert, the Bonet and the new proposals such as the Coppa Gigia.

The restaurant, housed in an old house in Piedicavallo, is spread over two completely renovated floors.
On the ground floor, once used as a “crota”, two characteristic taverns have been created; on the upper floor, where the bread oven was located, there are now the kitchen and the restaurant, which create a welcoming and elegant environment.
At the “Gatto Azzurro” you will find home cooking which, in addition to dishes from the valley and the territory, knows how to offer the richest and most elaborate ones of the Piedmontese and Italian heritage. The new management with chef Gabry Grotti will amaze you with originality and unique and delicious flavors. The “Gatto Azzurro” is also a pizzeria in the summer.

SAINT GIOVANNI SANCTUARY RESTAURANT
The structure consists of a hiking refuge and a restaurant, located inside the Sanctuary of San Giovanni d’Andorno, between the unspoiled nature of the Upper Cervo Valley and the peaks of the Biella Alps.
The restaurant offers a menu characterized by healthy and varied recipes in terms of local food, able to satisfy today’s tastes without forgetting tradition, prepared with seasonal and local products. Local producers are chosen every day who share the ideals of freshness and seasonality of the ingredients used.
Like, for example, the flour for polenta, stone-ground in an old mill recovered right here in the valley or the local cheeses still produced in the green and luxuriant pastures of the valleys.


THE BURSCH
The historic residence keeps the original 17th century plan intact and it is structured in a large complex including splendid common areas and a private park, overlooking the Cervo stream.
The Milan entrepreneur Barbara Varese leads the La Bursch project together with her daughters Eleonora and Giorgia. The family home is now a House Museum and Country House that restores the ancient atmosphere of the place with all the modern conveniences and comforts.
The kitchen of La Bursch is a place of meeting and conviviality, where the products and flavors of Valle Cervo come to life in a skilful combination of traditional simplicity and contemporary innovation. The eleven rooms available in the structure are treated in detail and are inserted as an integral part of a journey that crosses and explores distant worlds and ancient cultural heritages. Guests can abandon themselves to a discreet and charming luxury, where peace and comfort do not give up on a search for amazement.
